About Us
Kalderra is a non-profit organization founded in late 2025 to support the creation of a Cultural Arts District in Healdsburg, apply for state district designation by the California Arts Council and build the framework to carry the district forward.

BENEFITS TO THE COMMUNITY

Healdsburg is a unique arts and cultural destination with exceptional art galleries, restaurants, arts organizations, wineries, and more. Healdsburg is rich in agriculture, artistry, ethnicity, and gastronomy, and its people possess a genuinely collaborative soul. Healdsburg is revered for the unique public interaction, dialogue, and expression that inspires our distinctive artforms. The community is deeply enriched by our makers of art, music, dance, theater, film, wines, and cuisine — and we are intrinsically connected through our shared culture and experiences. (from the Arts and Culture Master Plan)
Cultural District designation provides access to state funding, marketing support through the California Arts Council, technical assistance for grant applications, and official branding that attracts cultural tourists. The state provides direct funding and connects designated districts to additional grant opportunities that can multiply local investment. Early supporters position themselves at the center of this economic development initiative.
